Color My Day Yellow And A Visit

The color yellow is...

A fashionable color,
A color of contrast,
A cheerful color,
A color of remembrance,
and
So pretty.

This yellow apron trimmed in black is so cute I want one.

I would like to take a drive in this classic yellow car. 

Growing a lemon tree indoors the tree will not outgrow the pot.

My favorite Girl Scout cookies are the lemon Savannah Smiles

 Old fashioned lemon-aid.

Yellow alstroemeria in blue.

 My favorite perfume, Acqua di Gioia

My soap dish and Dove bar.

 The pig with flowers and rhinestones was a gift from Christopher

and the small pig was from Kristen.

 My itty-bitty vase holds one flower. I leave it beside my sink with a fresh flower.

One stem is not an expense, it is a pleasure.

Just as your visit today was my pleasure.

Rocking Chair Make-Over

I have always wanted a white wicker rocker and I found one for twenty dollars. It needed a cushion and it needs touch-ups with paint on a few spots; but it is a real find. I almost gave it away when my kids, Kristen and Christopher, asked why was I giving away their chair. (Huh?)

I found a nice pillow for the back 

and then the seat cushion and fabric at Walmart. The seat cushion had a nice print but I wanted a solid. Clipped off all the labels and set to work.

Measure, clip, and tuck.

 

Ahh, someone is already making themselves comfortable, I see.
